Pricing 
Pricing is quoted on a ‘per day’ basis (24 hour period) 
 

Driver Age Requirements 
Minimum/Maximum age:  19 to 70 years Young driver fee – below 21 year or if driver is in position of driving licence for less than 2 years, regardless of age.  Fee is 8,00 EUR/day to maximum 80 EUR per rental - Includes 22% tax 
 

Driver License Requirements 
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving licence Driving licenses must be held for a minimum of 2 years. There are limitations on accepting driving licences. Driving licences should be in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters. International Driving licences are required when a driving license is not in English, Latin or Cyrillic letters.  Any driver must produce a valid, original copy of their driving license including photo ID. In the event that a customer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation as stated above, the booking will be cancelled. In these cases, there will be no refund.  
Additional Drivers Additional drivers are allowed, at a cost of EUR 8.00 per day - Includes 22% tax

Complete Cover Package: 
Super CDW covers the waivable amount in case of damage or theft - SCDW does not cover any damage to the interior or underside of the rental vehicle, tyre and wheel damage, broken or lost keys or contamination of fuel, neither in event of deliberate intent.  VAT included.

Third Party Liability Protection (TP): VAT included 
You may be held responsible for damage to or loss of tyres, windscreens, glass and undercarriage. Please check with the car rental agent on arrival. If you purchase the Excess Reimbursement Insurance from a third party, the credit card holder will be required to present his/ her credit card at the rental desk in order for the car rental agent to authorize the deposit.  Third party liability is included in the rates, and unlimited. 


Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): VAT included 
PAI is not included in the rate. Fire and Theft Insurance is included in the rate. In the case of Fire or Theft client would be liable for the excess amount.

  • WI-FI Mobile:  EUR 10,00 per day. - VAT included - On request.   

 

Breakdown Assistance 
Included in the price, includes 22% tax. Refer to office working hours. 
 

Fees

Fuel Policy 
We operate a full to full Fuel policy; we ask that customers return with the full tank as was supplied at the time of collection. Missing fuel will be charged 3,00 EUR per litre VAT included and an additional charge of EUR 20,00 VAT included (Refuelling Fee). Your vehicle will be supplied with fuel. To avoid incurring fuel charges you will need to return it approximately same level. You may be required to leave a fuel deposit reserved on your credit card that will be released when you return the car with same amount of fuel. Missing fuel will be charged on your return. The price per litre charged by the rental agent may be significantly higher than the price at the local service station. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated in the top section of rate details. 
 

Mileage Policy 
Unlimited mileage. Contact location in advance, cross border charges may apply. 
 

Ferry fee 
Taking the car to ferry, a fee of 25,00 EUR applies - Includes 22% tax 
 
 

Country / State Cross Border Travel - Includes 22% tax 
Cross border travel is allowed but is strictly on a requested service and available for the countries listed below only. Travel to Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all other former USSR countries on special approval. If travelling through not permitted countries or with not request service is a penalty fee of 250 EUR -  All countries EUR 40,00 
 

Toll Pass/Vignette 
Toll pass for motorways, a mandatory fee of 3,00 EUR per day max 30,00 EUR per rental – included 22% tax 
 

Tax Rate 
22% included in the rental price. 
 

Method of Payment 
Accepted Payment Methods: Credit cards, cash. 
Accepted for deposit: American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard, Diners and Visa A deposit amount of excess will be held against your card(s) for the period of the booking. 
Credit card(s) must be in the name of the main driver. Make sure you have a large enough limit to cover the excess. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed. 
 

Form(s) of ID 
A valid photo ID (passport or national ID). 
 

Vehicle Group/Model 
Our vehicles are classified into groups using the ACRISS codes for clarity of booking. The group is indicated in the bottom right of the vehicle image and the description at the top left. The group will print on your reservation. 
 

Reservations 
Are confirmed for a group and not a particular model unless shown otherwise. We are unable to guarantee a particular make/model or fuel type unless a guaranteed model group has been booked.  The vehicle shown on any documentation is for guidance only and may be substituted with an alternative, similar or upgraded vehicle at our discretion. 
 

Vehicle Condition 
Vehicles must be returned to the location/drop off point in the same condition as when it was picked up/delivered. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly checked prior to taking custody of the vehicle.  Whilst in charge of the vehicle the client accepts responsibility for maintaining the roadworthiness of the vehicle and agrees to take remedial action to avoid unnecessary cost/damage. This will include maintaining oil levels, tire pressures and other common sense actions to maintain the vehicle if before authorized. Costs will generally be covered only if it’s authorized in advance from the rental branch. Renter returns the vehicle in a clean condition (normal wear and tear excepted). If the vehicle is exceptionally dirty upon return or if there is damage to the seats, seat upholstery or the carpets an additional charge for deep cleaning will apply. This charge will be dependent upon the actual state of the vehicle when returned.  Any damage caused to the vehicle, if returned out of hours is the responsibility of the hirer until our staffs have checked in the vehicle. 
 
 
Voucher 
A printed version of your voucher must be produced upon arrival at the rental desk. Failure to present the voucher means the car rental agent may charge you at the local rates. Please note: We are not responsible for overcharges on rentals where the voucher was not presented to the local agent on a collection of the vehicle. If you do not present the required documents, the documentation is not valid or you do not have enough funds on your credit card, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle and no funds will be reimbursed 
 

Deep cleaning of the car 
Green Motion operates a no smoking policy for all vehicles. If you have smoked or allowed smoking within the vehicle charges will apply. A valeting fee will be surcharged to rectify any soiling due to a cigarette (or cigar) smoke/ash in the minimum amount of EUR 150,00 incl. VAT  
 

Animals in our vehicles 
We request no animals are transported in our vehicle unless contained. 
A valeting fee may be applied to rectify any soiling due to animal transportation. The minimum fee will be at least EUR 150,00 incl. VAT. 
 


Opening Hours 
Please check www.greenmotion.com for our applicable opening hours at your time of rental/arrival/ departure (pick-up, return etc.) Please always check before, the location may be closed for pickups and returns on Country’s or local public holidays 
 


Rental Extensions 
Please note that it may not always be possible to extend the hire. When the rental branch agrees to extend the hire, the rental will be charged at the prevailing rate which may be higher or lower than the original booking rate. 
 


Non-authorized 
rental extension EUR 500,00 per rental incl. VAT Penalty above the rental charge and the driver will be black listed (decline for future bookings) 
 


Early Returns/Unused Rental Days 
No refunds (partial or full) will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date. 
Fines, Penalties and Administration Charges It is the responsibility of each hirer to cover the cost of any parking fines and traffic violations. When fines or traffic violations occur and a Green Motion location is involved in administering the charge then an administration fee will be charged to the customer. 
 
Traffic and parking fine administrative fee: 30,00 EUR incl. VAT 
Damage administrative fee: 80,00 EUR incl. VAT (for damages worth more than 150,00 EUR) 
 
  
Late drop off 
For D/O 60 or more minutes, we charge a whole new rental day. Apply for all car groups. If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured.  We will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different from the original booking. 
 
Flight numbers provided are for informational purposes only. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the location of any delays. 
 
Grace period: 1 hour 
 


Prepaid Rentals 
Prepaid rentals are allowed. 


 
Amendments 
Reservation amendments must be requested in writing, fax or email at least 24 hours prior to the start of your rental. Please note that telephone amendments will not be accepted. An amendment request is not assured and amendments will be treated as a new booking. 
 


Lost Keys 
Green Motion will charge if keys are lost or damaged. Please note that if a vehicle is stolen and keys are not returned to the rental location, the hirer will be deemed negligent. Lost keys are deemed as negligence and are not covered under the insurance excess limitation or risk reduction packages. Drivers will be liable for all costs relating to recovery, loss of use and repair. This list is not exhaustive. 
 


Complaints 
All complaints should be made in writing either through our Online Contact Form found on our Contact Us page or via email to ics@cs.greenmotion.com within 30 days from the last day of your rental. Whilst we do try to resolve all cases brought to our attention, those raised after this period may not be considered. If at any point during the investigation process communication ceases for a period of more than 30 days, the case will be considered closed and no further action will be taken.  
 
Vehicle Trackers 
Some of our vehicles contain tracking devices which will be used in accordance with our data protection policy. 
 
No show fee 
One rental day per all car groups will be charged if reservation not cancelled 24 hours ahead. However, the charge will not be made if the client shows up in 6 hours frame after the pick-up time. Reservations will be held for 1 hour from the specified reservation time after which they will be classed as a no-show.  If a customer arrives after this time then a vehicle is not assured.  We will do everything possible to provide a vehicle. This may include offering a different vehicle and rates may be different from the original booking.

Stop Sell 
We reserve the right to cancel a rental and refuse service anywhere prior to 24 hours before booking. NO GRACE PERIOD AT ANY TIME. 

 
GDPR 
All information relating to privacy and data protection when using a Green Motion service will be contained on our privacy policy which is located on our website – www.greenmotion.com/privacy 
 
General Terms 
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions. 
Green Motion Limited cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for and accepted locally. 
Green Motion Limited will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs causing wilful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention. The customer will accept responsibility in respect of such claims. This list is not exclusive. 
When comprehensive insurance is taken out it is to provide the customer with entitlement to drive and covers the vehicle in the event of an accident. In the case where a customer is found negligent Green Motion Limited and its locations reserve the right to pursue the customer for the recovery of all losses incurred. 
Calls to Green Motion may be recorded.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.

Liability
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
